Childrens' Play Area

The communal grounds include a childrens' recreation area with 'Skyfort' - a large wooden tower with lookout section, climbing wall, monkey bars and swings. The play area also includes a separate swing set, trampoline and tables and chairs, along with a 'strap-line'.

The Grounds

The gîtes are set in 4.5 acres of private grounds - mainly laid to lawn, with a small area of woodland, its yours to explore at your leisure, enjoy the shaded walks, find the beech tunnel. With plenty of space for a game of football. cricket, or tennis, or just sitting and relaxing. There is also a boules / petanque court next to swimming pool.

Just outside the grounds are quiet lanes and tracks which link with dedicated cycle paths and walking paths that are part of the 10,000Km plus French network. We can recommend a number of local walks including 'dog friendly' and 'children friendly' routes.

​The Swimming Pool

We have a heated swimming pool for use by the guests - it is octagonal and approx. 6.5 across. It is approx. 1.3m deep. Its accessed by a disabled accessible ramp and is protected by a Norme Francais compliant 'child proof' gate and fencing leading to a large wooden sun deck.

The pool is heated July - August each year and is available for use April-October each year - with longer opening if the weather is mild. It has an upper wooden sun-deck and a lower paved sun deck complete with sun-loungers and chairs.

Please note it is an above ground pool and so diving and jumping into the pool is not allowed. The pool is available from 10am to 8pm or during daylight hours (whichever is less).
