Lost for ideas of what to do? Too many options? Then ask us questions – we are here to help you have a great holiday and will be happy to assist with ideas of things to do, but please don’t feel pressured – for some of our guests the cottages and the gardens are all they need – a quiet peaceful location to sit with a good book or a glass of something and catch up with family and friends. The cottages are set in four and a half acres of grounds and each cottage has its own private enclosed garden for your exclusive use, in addition to the large communal gardens. We also provide sports equipment (badminton rackets and net, swing-ball, boules, strap-line, swings, cricket bat etc) for those who want to enjoy outdoor sports.

We do have wi-fi (but you don’t have to tell your employer that- you are on holiday after all) and we are supplied by high-speed fibre broadband so it is usually fast enough for video-conferencing if needed – obviously this isn’t guaranteed as internet speed and functionality is usually outside our control.

If you wish to come for an extended stay and work remotely please contact us in advance and we can discuss how we can facilitate that. 

Le Mans 24 Hour

An easy drive from the cottages - we offer special rates and altered handover days for groups wanting to attend the 24 hour Le Mans - extend your break on either side of the race and avoid the mad rush to the coast.

Enjoy the magnificent roads around the gites to either get you in the mood, or wind down from the race.

We have a large CCTV covered car park for cars and bikes can be stored under cover.

Everything Else

On this page you will find a few of the more unusual attractions locally, from motor racing to line dancing. Everything from local agricultural fairs with goose herding and ploughing competitions, through to gold-panning in local streams. We also have some events that occur during the year, such as the annual son-et-lumiere, or le mans 24hr, or the one of the largest bio fairs in Europe. When you arrive we will update you if there are any key local events happening on the dates you are here to allow you to plan your holiday time.
